Dr John Demartini Wins 2nd Annual XL Extraordinary Lives Award

Dr John Demartini, the World Leading Behavioral Expert, Speaker and Author at the Forefront of the Personal and

Professional Development Industry, Wins Top XL Results Foundation Award


    The XL Extraordinary Lives Award is presented to one of XL's 3000 Members from around the world that has

been an inspiration to others and who has contributed back to society in a meaningful way. The Award, which was

introduced last year, has its winner determined by XL Results Foundation Members who vote for the individual that

they feel most deserves to be recognized. Paul Dunn -- the Australian speaker and philanthropist -- was the

inaugural winner in 2007.




    Dr Demartini is an admirable winner -- receiving a donation and media package to further the work of The

Demartini Institute. His scope of knowledge and experience is a culmination of 34 years of research and studies of

more than 28,000 texts into over 200 different disciplines ranging from psychology, philosophy, metaphysics,

theology, neurology and physiology. He was one of the featured philosopher/teachers in the world renowned hit

movie, "The Secret" and is considered foremost in the field of philosophy, transformation and expanding global

consciousness.


    The Demartini Institute is focused on personal and professional development with a vision of reaching and

empowering millions of students across every level of society throughout Africa. The Institute has a strong focus on

expanding Dr Demartini's work into the communities which is being achieved with sponsored seats on his seminars

as well as pro-bono workshops and talks presented in the communities.


    The two award runners-up are Getrude Matshe from New Zealand and Bruce Muzik from the United Kingdom.


    Getrude Matshe is a speaker, author and philanthropist -- born and raised in Zimbabwe and now living in

Wellington, New Zealand. She is the founder of the Africa Alive Education Foundation, which provides education,

health and family support services for HIV positive children and young adults in rural and impoverished

communities in Zimbabwe. The Foundation promotes community participation in the care and support of orphans

and other vulnerable children for social, educational and economic advancement.



    Bruce Muzik is a talented musician, who now manages and runs his own seminar and consulting company in the

UK. Bruce, who was raised in South Africa, gives back to communities in his home country in several ways, which

include sponsoring a rural business school and providing free education for South Africans who do not have the

resources or funds for study.


    Roger Hamilton is Chairman of the XL Group "Over 100 extraordinary individuals were nominated for this award

and each of them is an inspiration -- giving back to society and inspiring others to do the same. Social

entrepreneurs around the world, such as those nominated for this award, are making major strides every day in
