Vandals Attack Kidney Health Australia National Headquarters
Vandals have attacked the national headquarters of Kidney Health Australia in York
Street South Melbourne causing thousands of dollars of damage .
Anne Wilson the CEO of Kidney Health Australia said,” the organization was shocked
by the attack with a bollard being thrown through the front window of the organization.”
Ms Wilson said,” the building was clearly identified as Kidney Health Australia’s offices
and anyone or group undertaking such as an act would have known they were
attacking a charity which represents tens of thousands of Australians with chronic
kidney disease “.
“In these tough times charities such as Kidney Health Australia depends on every dollar
we can raise to put into our work for the community ,not pay for acts of vandalism “.
Ms Wilson urged anyone with knowledge of the attack to contact the South Melbourne
