Winemakers Join Restaurant In Raising $30,000 For Neurology Research

Last Thursday 13th of November, $30,000 was raised for research at the

Neurology Research Centre within the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital

(RBWH), during a $350/head decadent dinner.


Guests experienced the ultimate night in culinary delights of the world perfectly

married with some of the finest wines on the market today at the highly

anticipated launch of Peak Fine Dining at the new Iceworks Precinct in

Paddington, Brisbane.

Special guests Bruce Tyrrell from Tyrrell’s Wines, Andrew Hardy from Petaluma

Wines and Marty O’Flaherty from Rockbare Wines showcased their finest wines

to accompany Peak Fine Dining’s chef James Williams’ tantalizing eight course

degustation menu.

The Neurology Research Centre focuses on four main areas of research; Stroke,

Motor Neurone Disease, Epilepsy and Movement Disorders such as Parkinson’s

and Huntington’s disease and primarily gets its funding from the RBWH

Foundation. Peak Fine Dining is honoured to be supporting such a worthy

Research Centre which is committed to better understand, prevent and treat

diseases and conditions of the brain,

Peak Fine Dining is part of the Iceworks precinct located on the corner of Given

Terrace and Dowse Street in Paddington; 100 metres from Suncorp Stadium.

This precinct also comprises of the Iceworks Restaurant I Bar I Lounge, Dowse

Bar and the Iceworks Apartments; along with ample undercover parking for all

patrons.
