LHMU, the childcare union on sale of ABC Learning Centres

The LHMU, the childcare union, will brief media on today's announcement by
the ABC Learning Receivers that GoodStart is the successful bidder for the
purchase the collapsed company's childcare centres.

GoodStart is a non-profit company established by Social Ventures Australia
and charities Mission Australia, the Benevolent society and the Brotherhood of
St Laurence.

Sue Lines, LHMU Assistant National Secretary, will brief media at a doorstop
after Good Start's announcement at 11 am this morning.
