HEALTH REFORM CONSULTS IN MELOURNE
The Minister for Indigenous Health, Rural and Regional Health and Regional
Services Delivery, Warren Snowdon,
will visit the Austin Hospital in Melbourne on Friday (23rd October)
as part of a Federal Government round of national consultations on reform of
the Australian health system.
The Rudd government is consulting around Australia on the 123 recommendations of the
report, A Healthier Future For All Australians.
Local health professionals and staff at the Austin Hospital will attend a onsultation forum
with Mr Snowdon. The wider community can have their say by visiting
Following the consultation forum, to which media is invited, Minister Snowdon will
tour the Surgery and Endoscopy Unit of the hospital and inspect the building project:
