HEALTH REFORM CONSULTS ON THE GOLD COAST
The Minister for Health and Ageing, Nicola Roxon,
will visit Griffith University tomorrow (24th August)
as part of a Federal Government round of national consultations following
the release of the report of the National Health and Hospitals Reform
Commission to reshape Australias health system.
The report, A Healthier Future For All Australians, makes 120 recommendations on
every facet of health care, including dental care, workforce issues, Indigenous health,
hospitals, primary care, aged care. preventative health and the use of electronic patient
records.
Health and hospital professionals will attend the consultations tomorrow to put their
views to Minister Roxon. The wider public can also have their say at
