BACKGROUND:
The Consultation Forum follows the release of the National Health and Hospitals
Reform Commission Report, which includes recommendations for system-wide changes
to Australian health care.
Two other reports presented to the Australian Government – the draft National Primary
Health Care Strategy and the National Preventative Health Strategy – also make specific
recommendations.
