Background:
The full Council of the National Rural Health
Alliance will meet for face-to-face interviews with
MPs and Senators at Parliament House.
Among them are the Hon Warren Snowdon,
Minister for Indigenous Health, Rural and
Regional Health and Regional Services Delivery;
the Hon Warren Truss, Shadow Minister for
Trade, Transport, Regional Development and
Local Government; and Peter Dutton, Shadow
Minister for Health and Ageing.
Dr May will share Council views on the current
state of health in rural Australia which is under
serious threat from various sectors, including
severe workforce shortage and climate change.
