Natural Hangover cures for

Melbourne Cup party goers

Endeavour College of Natural Health, Australia’s leading natural therapy educator

today offered a range of natural remedies to prevent or overcome hangovers during the

Melbourne Spring festival.

Obviously the best preventative measure to avoid a hangover is to abstain from

drinking alcohol to excesssaid Dr Vardaxis (Director of Education) at Endeavour

College; “But if you are going to indulge, there are several precautions and natural

remedies that can help prevent the morning after feeling”

Alternate alcoholic drinks with water

Drink a glass of milk before starting to drink alcohol

Avoid drinking on an empty stomach, eat some food while drinking

Take Slippery Elm Bark before drinking as this can help line the stomach or St

Mary’s Thistle tablets the day before, the morning of, and after alcohol, which

improves the livers capacity to cope with abuse, and is an excellent liver

detoxifier/restorative.

The Homeopathic remedy Nux Vomica 30

-

is also one of the

best

hangover remedies in the world  -  take 2-3 doses before bed  then on waking

hourly as needed

Pure tomato juice, or any combination of tomato and vegetable juice will also

assist

All remedies can be purchased in good health food stores, or can be prescribed in one

of the many supervised student clinics at Endeavour College of Natural Health.
