International Missing Children's Day

The Australian Federal Police Commissioner Mick Keelty and the Minister for Home
Affairs Bob Debus MP will launch International Missing Children's Day today Monday,
25 May 2009.
Nine countries will come together to launch the day which aims to educate the global
community about issues associated with missing children and strengthen global efforts
to find them.

When Monday, 25 May 2009
9.45am arrival for 10am launch
Special A balloon release will occur at approx 10.20am with
Note images of missing children from around the world.
(Balloon releases will also occur in other participating
countries)

Images and video will be available in media packs at the
launch along with information on other countries'
activities.

Interviews can be arranged with an AFP spokesperson
and some families attending the event.
