‘TASTE OF GOLD’ HOLMESGLEN FARMERS’ MARKETS

Saturday 31 January 2010


On Saturday 31 January from 9am to 1pm Holmesglen’s Waverley campus will hold the

‘Taste of Gold’ Farmers Market. Farmers from across the state will arrive early to set up

over 40 stalls filled with seasonal produce including honey, wines, preserves, chocolates,

organic meats, seafood and eggs.


As well as purchasing locally grown produce direct from the farmers, visitors can indulge in

a hot breakfast cooked by Holmesglen’s cookery students.


Holmesglen’s Farmers’ Markets occur throughout the year on the fifth Saturday of the

month – approximately four times a year.


Entry is by gold coin donation with all proceeds going to Holmesglen’s Charitable

Foundation, which supports community organisations and disadvantaged students.


Parking is available on site.
