State Trustees opens new office at Dandenong

State Trustees new state of the art Dandenong office will be open to the public from Monday

19 April 2010, in a central location which is well positioned to take advantage of the

revitalisation of the local area.

The new State Trustees office will be located in the $40 million Arkana development on the

corner of Lonsdale and Foster Streets – and will include a retail customer service space on the

ground floor.

The new State Trustees Dandenong Southern Service Centre is expected to bring more than

100 jobs to the local area, with an initial placement 60 employees at the office expected to

grow to 105 within 12 months. This will bring a boost to the local economy as a result of

employees shopping locally.

From Monday, all State Trustees services will be available from the new Dandenong Office.

State Trustees’ Managing Director Tony Fitzgerald said State Trustees was pleased to offer a

facility to provide services to an expanding customer base in Dandenong and surrounding

areas.

“A large number of State Trustees’ clients live in and around Dandenong and the new office

will make it easier for the local community to access our range of financial and legal services,”

he said.

Mr Fitzgerald said the new Dandenong office, announced in July 2009, represented a clear

commitment from State Trustees to move closer to its clients.

“We already play an active role in the community through our extensive Wills, Estate Planning,

Deceased Estates and Enduring Power of Attorney services, as well as providing services to

support vulnerable Victorians. We are working to move our offices and services to where more

Victorians live so we can provide even better support,” he said.

Mr Fitzgerald also said State Trustees was also delighted to be able to offer a number of its

employees a workplace close to home.

“The office provides a great work/life balance with most of the 60 employees living within a 10

kilometre radius of the office. It provides state-of-the-art facilities and employees are settling in

well to their new environment,” he said.
